Info on Evangelions or Eva's for short

Eva-00 - Prototype Model

Pilot:Rei Ayanami

Appearance: Unit 00 has a single eye and is primarily coloured blue and with bits of white and black, in the early stages this unit was coloured yellow and white.

History: Unit 00 is the first fully functional unit of the Eva series. Is has also been catagorized as a Test type unit. Unfortunatley this unit has a history of contamination by both pilots and outside sources. Determined UNSTABLE.  

Eva-01 - Test Model

Pilot:Shinji Ikari

Appearance: Unit 01 is the most human in appearance, having two eyes. The coloration of the unit is primarily purple.

History: Unit 01 is the second fully fuctional unit. It has been designated as a Test-type unit. However this unit has been know to berzerk when the pilot is out of commission, and has also on a number of occasion activated itself with no external power. The exact nature of this unit is still unknown. Determined UNSTABLE.

Eva-02 - Production Model

Pilot:Asuka Langley Sohyru

Appearance: Unit 02 is primarily coloured red, and has four eyes.

History: Unit 02 is the second fully function Eva. This unit has been determined STABLE. And unseen side effect to it being the most stable is that the shear power often displayed by Unit 01 is not present in Unit 02. Pilot Langley was mentally destroyed in an Angel attack, 5th Child Kaworu Nagisa was given Unit 02.

Eva-03 - Test Model

Pilot:Touji Suzuhara

Appearance: Unit 03 is primarily coloured black.

History: Unit 03 is the third fully functional Eva. Unfortunately before testing of this unit could begin, it was infected by an angel, but it went unnoticed by NERV staff. Upon acctivation the angel awoke and took control of the Unit's systems. Unit 01 and pilot were sent in to stop Unit 03 at any cost. Shinji Ikari was unwilling to possibly kill the other pilot. Commander Ikari was forced to run the Dummy Plug System for the first time in combat. The status of Unit 03: DESTROYED. Status of Unit 03 pilot: CRITICAL, SEVERE BLOOD LOSS, LEFT LEG AMPUTATED.

Eva-04 - Test Model

Pilot:Unknown

Appearance: Unit 04 looks like Unit 03 but is silver in colour.

History: Unit 04 is the fourth fully functional Eva. However durning the testing of this unit and the S-2 engine the unit and everything in a 100 mile radius 'sank' into the Sea of Dirac. Cause is still unknown. Status: MISSING/DESTROYED

Eva-05 - 13 - Mass Production Model

Pilot:Dummy Plug System

Appearance: Units 05-13 are white and have no visible eyes.

History: Units 05-13 are designed to use the Dummy Plug System, so that there is no possibility of pilot error. However they become difficult to control and are excedingly violent.
